My mission is to create beauty that appeals to the soul, through color, texture and the love of creating: Artistry for the Soul.
Each piece is unique. I search for unusual pieces to use as a focal point in the necklace/pendants. Maybe a new stone, maybe a vintage pendant or pin that can be reworked into something new. I make a variety of items using different techniques from simple stringing to various bead weaving stitches.
I have recently added the beginning of what I hope will be many pieces of fiber art. I love working with fibers and knitting and seeing how the colors and techniques blend.
I also offer custom designing and will work with you to make that special item you have had in the drawer, into something wearable.

Since childhood, I have always loved making things. From using fabric scraps for doll clothes, to making all sorts of crafts with my mom. Grandma taught me embroidery, my sister taught me knitting and crocheting, as well as a few wonderful instructors of various techniques along the way.
As my skills progressed I began to enter my counted cross stitch and Hardanger pieces in the Minnesota State Fair. I have many ribbons for my work, including a Hardanger Sweepstakes. Nordic Needle in Fargo, ND has published several of my Hardanger designs.
My love of color and learning new techniques, lead me to beads. It's been a wonderful discovery. I look forward to adding more and more designs!
